We invite representatives of citizens’ associations, the academic community and informal groups to join us at the two-day event “Dogorelo je“, which will be held in Knić on September 30 and October 1 this year.
In light of the alarming data — almost 2,000 fires were recorded in Serbia in August 2025 alone — it is time to gather, share knowledge and take action.
The event is dedicated to the analysis of the current situation and the exploration of possibilities for the active involvement of various social actors in the prevention and resolution of the fire problem in the environment.
What awaits you?
On the first day: introductory lectures, panel discussion and cultural program On the second day: work in small groups, practical training and final discussion
We will deal with topics such as:
- the current situation with fires in Serbia
- the role of civil protection and voluntary fire brigades
- fires as a consequence of climate change
- the impact of fire on social, cultural, natural and economic resources
- investor, agricultural, forest fires, as well as those in landfills and picnic areas
